June 1st, Letter

Hey Everyone!                                                                                 June 1, 2013
Well I got my first mosquito bite of the year a couple nights ago... It’s been a good week, and lots of fun. I will start off at the beginning. Sunday we gave our talks. All four of us missionaries spoke. I talked on Demonstrating our discipleship through service. I didn't have much time to prepare for it because we found out about it a couple days before and we were pretty busy. So Dad sent me one of his talks and I used part of it along with some other things I found. It went pretty good! It was also the Weylands last Sunday. They taught Sunday School. After church we had the Munch and Mingle and then we went with the Assistants over to Cherry Hill, NJ for a baptism in Elder L. old area. There were actually a lot of missionaries there, and a lot from my group. Sister H. and Josh W. from the Medford ward were there. So it was cool to see all of them. We got back kind of late and then we had to work in the office for a little bit to get mission stats ready for the Zone Leaders.
Monday - Memorial Day was pretty good. In the morning we drove the Broomall Sisters and Elders to Ridley State Park for the Broomall ward breakfast. We had a good time there. Then we came back to the office and did some of our regular office work. The senior couples were out of the office for the day. We got our numbers report done just in time to go with the AP's to the Sr. Couples fireside at the Mission Home. We had a steak and potato dinner with all the senior couples. It was a really nice day and we ate outside with Pres. & Sis. Schaefermeyer at their table. Then we took a group picture of all the couples, and I got a picture with the Weylands and some other people. Then the Scaeferemyers spoke to everyone about things they had learned/experiences etc. I recorded the audio and got some video as well. It was really cool and we were super lucky to be able to go!
Tuesday - Office work in the morning. Then we drove to Reading, PA to deliver some medicine to a missionary.
Wednesday - Let’s see... we had the Mission conference call in the morning. The new Senior couple - the Smuins came to the office. They are really cool! We’re going to have a good time with them. I told them that they probably do know the Boyack’s and yup they do!! We helped them move in a little bit and talked to them about the mission.
Thursday - We had Zone Training in the Morning. The other new senior couple (the Weylands replacements) The Holloways came in that day and we got to meet them also. They are also very nice and cool. We have some good new couples. After we did some of our office work we went on exchange with the Zone Leaders. We did the exchange in their area because we really not have anything to do in our area right now. Things are pretty slow in our area right now. The exchange went good. It was just for the night because we needed to be back in Broomall.
Friday morning we went to the office a little early so we could get some stuff done. Then we had to drive over to Vineland, NJ for Golden Re-Training. We are also going to the re-training on Tuesday in Dover. The Baileys are having us help them with the luncheons because pretty soon we will be in charge of providing the lunches for all the missionaries meetings. It’s a lot of work! So I’m going to need some good recipes haha.
Umm. Today were emailing then going to lunch with our district. Then washing our car at the church, then we’re just going to hang out. We’re going to try to get some sun since we’re inside all day.
I’m currently working on deciding which phones in our mission to switch from sprint to At&t. So I’m comparing coverage maps for a lot areas etc. I’m trying to think if there is anything else to say.
Mom- at District Meetings I have an assigned topic to teach and then I just have to decide where to go with the topic etc. So I have to make up the whole thing. So far they have gone pretty well.
Glad Mom and Kylee had a good time in NYC! I got your post card a few days ago. Thanks!
K I think that's everything!
