August 24th Letter

What's sup??

Well I don't have much new stuff to tell you this week. So I will just kind of update you on a few things. We taught Dan earlier this week. Man, he is doing sooo good. He's a lot like Kevin as far as the teaching process. He's been sooo easy to teach. He hasn't had any concerns. And we're almost all the way done with the lessons. He is pretty far in the Book of Mormon and doesn't need us to remind him to read it. He watches General Conference Talks everyday. We taught him the word of wisdom a few weeks ago and he has completely given up coffee. He has already started inviting people from school to his baptism. Man it's so awesome. And we really haven't had to put much effort into teaching him. He has a really good member friend that's helped a long the whole way. We talk to him on Facebook during he week cause he's busy with Medical School and were busy in the office. I'm pretty sure were gonna stick with September 8th for his Baptism he likes that day. I guess along with it being your Anniversary it's also a couple other things for him and Hailey his friend. So yeah that's Dan.

Lets see... In the office I have been starting to Train Elder Smuin more. It's been kind of funny, he is already very good with finances but he really doesn't know a lot about Using computers. He will eventually get it. I'm going to make sure i have really good instructions for him. And I'm going to tell him along with President, they can call me anytime when I'm home to help out with something. Once i leave were going to have the Assistants do some of the things i do now, with mission stats and numbers etc.

Other things going on. Elder Hallstrom will be here tomorrow, No big deal. He is going to the Broomall Sacrament meeting with President. Then he will meet with Pres. for a few hours and then leave. I think we will go to Broomall's sacrament meeting to so that we can meet him. President will be showing him all the reports I've made etc. We've been working on getting everything ready all week. Right after he leaves President will be having a meeting with all the Stake Presidents here at the Mission office. And will be going over some of the same things.

We also have 4 Zone Conferences next week. Wanna hear something weird?? It will be my LAST zone conference. My last time standing in front of everyone and giving a presentation. We've also been getting everything ready for that. I've edited, updated and redesigned a lot of the papers, forms, accountability sheets, binders etc that we use in the mission and we will be distributing those next week. Were doing a big much needed facebook training. Ive made a pretty sweet PowerPoint for it. I will show ya next week cause I'm still working on it.

I'm trying to tweek and perfect the Mission logo i want to make sure it looks the best it can before i leave. So it will be looking good for years and years.Once it's completely done i will order all those shirts. I need to know who all wants one, sizes etc.

I think leaving the office is going to be good for me. I do like it a lot, but it going to be good to get outside and to be more active etc for my last 6 weeks.
