Well i feel like i
don't have a whole ton to tell ya guys today. But i do have some stuff.
I'll start with last
Sunday. We had that baptism up in Susquehanna. We left here at 9:30 and picked
up our ward Mission Leader - Bradford cause he needed a ride up. It was a
pretty long drive. We drove from Philadelphia to pretty much the New York border.
The YSA group ended up running pretty late from their way down from Palmyra so
we had a few hours to our selves to hang out at the river and the monument
site. The baptism got moved from 2:30 to like 4 or 4:30. While we were waiting
at the monument site, there were quite a few members from all over the US that
stopped by to see everything so we got to talk to them a little. The baptism
was pretty cool, we had the whole program on the river banks. The water was a
lot higher then when we were there last year. It was also muddy and slippery.
And the water was pretty dirty. I got some really good pics, i will email them
to you plus put them on FB. It all went pretty good, and then we had our long
drive back home. We got back here around 9:00.
So i told you about Elder
Larson and his brother. On Monday me and Elder larson went over to the mission
home, cause President Anderson has a nice big iMac. We used it to edit the
airport video and put some music to it. We uploaded it to YouTube so his family

Notice how many views it has??? 2,050 views as of right now!! That's crazy! But
yea though you would think that's cool to see.
Iv'e been working on
all kinds of stuff this week. Im trying to get all my stuff organized. So that
everything is good to go when Elder Smuin takes over. Most of the craziness of
transfers as wore off. Im still trying to find 3 apartments though from last
transfer. Pretty soon im gonna have to start looking for next transfers apts.
Probably later this week. I've been working on a lot of stuff for
President. I got in contact with the guy in our mission that is going to help
us with the mission stats website. Were completely re-doing all over numbers
reports and the website. So im having to come up with what we want on all of
our reports and what they should look like. Same as the website i have to type
up a summary of how each page should work and look like. So that photoshop and
illustrator have really came in handy cause im having to design all this stuff,
all the buttons etc. But its gonna look very nice, and gonna do some good stuff
when its all good. I think Church HQ is gonna be jealous cause its a lot better
then what they have. I dont think i told you this, but Elder Hallstrom from the
Seventy is coming to our mission next sunday. He told President that he just
wants to come to church with him and then just talk. President doesn't know
exactly what he wants to talk about, but he thinks Elder Hallstrom has heard
about some of the new things we are doing with our Key Indicators and
reporting. So were trying to get everything ready in time so that President can
show it to him. President is starting his rounds of speaking at all 7 of the
Stake Conferences. Tomorrow is his first one, and he is going to talk about all
this new stuff we have come up with, our new way to track the members work -
the new IBM key indicator etc. He is gonna show one of those videos from the
special missionary broadcast we had. Its gonna be so good. This will be the
start of the "change" in our mission where the members start to do
more of the finding the missionaries do more teaching. We have Zone Conferences
the last week of August. Thats going to be crazy! Its Presidents first one!! We
all have so much that we want the missionaries to be trained on. The mission is
so young. Like a majority of the mission has been out less then a year.
So a lot of experience has been lost and they all just don't know all the
rules. Were gonna do a big Facebook training. Were also going to introduce some
new stuff with all the reporting and stats. We are going to start tracking Less
Active Re-activations.
About a week after
Zone Conferences - also the last week of the transfer. We have Elder Bowen from
the Seventy coming to tour our Mission. We are going to have 2 big meetings for
that. And he will talk to us and train etc. The office staff gets to have a
private meeting with him so that will be cool.
Let's see i think
thats most of the news. Were teaching Dan tonight about Tithing and Law of
Chastity . Were almost done with his lessons. He's doing pretty good.
Well i think im gonna
