So I told you a little about the bed bugs last time, last Monday we cleaned our apartment really good, washed everything, and sprayed some bug stuff that is supposed to kill the bugs. Then later in the week we steam cleaned our carpet. So hopefully we got rid of them. Luckily I wasn’t ever bit by them. We spent P-Day with the House family. We did our laundry and hung out with them. Then we went bowling with them and had dinner at their house. Tuesday we went and helped Bruce cut up a huge tree that had fell from a storm, then loaded it into his barn. Then that night he took us out to eat at a pretty nice restaurant. So every Wednesday we have a mission wide conference call, and our Mission President talks to all of us, tells us some announcements and then he teaches us about something. So we had that Wednesday morning. Then we went to the library and worked on our finder binder for a while. Then after our break, we went on exchange with our Zone Leaders. I was with Elder Olavason. Both companionship's just doubled into our area, because it’s too far for the zone leaders to go back to their area for the exchange. The exchange went pretty well, we found a new investigator that night, and we visited a few less-active members, who were actually nice and happy to see us. We even got a dinner appointment with one of them. The new investigator was a lady that was sitting on her porch, and at first she thought we were trying to sell something, but then we told her who we were what were doing etc. And she invited us up onto her porch to talk to her. She was pretty cool, and really open to listening to us. So we shared with her a little of what we believed, and we got a return appointment with her for tomorrow. My companion found a new investigator while he was on exchange that night also! ;) Thursday we had District meeting. Then after our weekly planning we went on another exchange, this time with the Whitehall (Allentown) Elders. I was with Elder North in the Allentown area. We got home and he wanted to work out, because he's doing the P90X thing, because he's going home in September so I guess he's trying to get big before he goes home. But he wanted me to do it with him. So I did...Holy cow. I was dead. We did one of the upper body workouts, and my arms were completely dead afterwards. I have been super, super sore since. haha. My arms hurt!! But that exchange went well. My companion is a District Leader so he has to go on exchange with 5 missionaries. Saturday, was kind of a slow day, we had some stuff fall through. But later that day I helped one of our investigators make a website for her business, so that was pretty cool. Then Bruce took us out to eat again. I was still really sore, and super tired. Sunday was good, we had a lot more people at church then normal because a girl was getting baptized, so they had a lot of family and friends there. We stayed after for her baptism. For some reason her water was green/yellowish.... we weren’t sure why. The water comes from a well but they couldn’t figure out why it was cloudy. But they decided it was safe so they baptized her in it...haha.We found out our Branch President is moving in a few weeks, and so is our RS President... So the Branch is going to have some big changes. I still kind of feel like I don’t know anyone when I go to church. Well that’s about all we did last week. This week should be good, we will be meeting with our 2 new investigators. Probably be going on exchange with Kutztown, and my companion goes home in 2 weeks!! I’m going to try to keep doing the P90X thing or at least using some weights, and were going to try to wake up at 6 everyday and go running and stuff, so yeah!Have a great week!
