Going across Palmyra Bridge

Palmyra Bridge

Hey!
So last week i kind of told you what we did for Memorial Day so I'm not going to repeat that. But we had lots of food and lots of fun last Monday!!
Sounds like you guys had a great time in California. I am Jealous! Thanks for all the pics!! It was really cool to see the bridge and the other places you went. And yes i do remember the Kopf Family. I remember when we stayed at their house when our van broke down that one Sunday. How's Kylee doing? I'm excited for her. That is sweet that she gets to stay in San Francisco!! Hey say hi to Jonny Burton!! That's cool that he's home!
OK so here are a few things that we did last week:
First a crazy story. Friday night we were on our way home and we stopped by a store to get some food. We were on our way out of the parking lot, and we were waiting behind a car to turn right onto the main road. It was raining and dark, and all of a sudden i hear a honk, then headlights pointing at our car. Then all of a sudden a car turning into the parking lot gets T-boned. the car spins and slams right into the car in front of us that is also waiting to turn right. It was all like 10 feet in front of us. And we could of almost got hit. We sat in silence for a second realizing what had just happened. I was driving and i told my companion to call 911.. We got out to make sure everyone was OK. And everyone pretty much was. The cops got there pretty fast and we told them what happened etc. And they let us go home. That was the first time I have seen an accident happen.
The next day the A.P's (Assistants to the President) went on exchange with us for the second half of the day. I was a little nervous, but it actually went pretty well. And wasn't bad at all. We switched companions and then both companionship's worked in different parts of our area. We both went through the less active list. And got a lot of good work done!
Kevin, Dawn the family are doing awesome! Dawn just got an assignment to work with the Young Women on Wednesday nights. Not sure if I told you that already or not.
Monday (June 4th) was my companions Birthday so we did some fun stuff for that. But I will go into more detail about that next week :) But I did make those little cake things for him mom. Tell Grandma Janet thanks for the subway card and letter and the other stuff she sent me. The weather has still been pretty rainy and gloomy lately... I don't like it very much. Oh i forgot to tell you. We had to have our apartment bug bombed/sprayed. Cause the owners thought we had bed bugs (which we didn't) So we had to move all of our furniture to the center of the rooms. And wash everything. And then leave our apartment for 4 hours while they sprayed. It was a huge pain.
Well that's about all. Sorry wasn't the most eventful week.
Thanks for everything. Love you guys!
-Elder Jeremy Jensen
