Well today was transfers.... And i got a new Companion! His name is Elder Fredrickson From Bremerton, Washington. Thought i would tell you the most exciting news first. So Elder Mitchell found out on Saturday that he was leaving. We were planning on him going so it wasn't a big surprise. So we were able to stop by people throughout the week and get pics with people. So We woke up at 6 this morning and had a member drive us to Broomall, PA. for transfers. They had us gather in the gym and had our pictures come up on a power point and we would walk out to the center and then our new companions picture would pop up. So yeah, that was my first transfer meeting, i was a little nervous to find out who i would be put with. But he is pretty cool so i am glad. But I'm still a little nervous cause now i am leading the area. ahhhh.
So this week i went on an exchange with Elder Phelps in his area. But it was an interesting exchange, we started by driving to Philly to pick up one of our Zone Leaders. (And i actually met my new companion while we were there, Except i didn't know him yet) Then that night we drove back and forth between Elder Phelps' area and our Zone Leaders area. Because the three of us were together for that night. So we did a lot of driving. The next day we got to ride a train to Camden, NJ to drop off our Zone Leader to meet up with his Companion. So i got to hang out there for a couple hours. It was a pretty fun/interesting exchange.
Monday me and Elder Mitchell made scones for P day.. yum i took some pics for you guys to see that missionaries can cook! :)
We had a few dinner appointments this week, more people invited us over because Elder Mitchell was leaving i think. And we got a lot of leftover food from the members!
We are still teaching Patricia but i think we will have to extend her date. Because she needs to come to church 3 more times and she only has 2 more Sundays til her baptism date. But she will be baptized soon! cant wait :) The Family with the Baptism date has been sick the last few weeks so we haven't been able to get over there.. :( Were waiting for them to get better. We helped one of our investigators out with some service this week, and got on his good side. And he invited us over for dinner on Easter!
Oh and on our way back from transfers today we drove through downtown Philly so i got some pics. I think i will be a little nervous/stressed the next few days/week Cause i will have to do most of the planning etc. Because my new companion doesn't know any of the people or the area. So its all up to me... ahhh
so wish me Luck! oh we had snow again a few days ago,its almost all melted now though.
Have a great week! Thanks everyone that has sent me letters!

:) -Elder Jeremy Jensen
