Well this past week has been pretty good! I got a new companion, as you already know. This last week we had a new family invite us over for Dinner. And they are awesome! They are brand new in the ward, and they are super willing to help us out with our missionary work. And they felt bad that no one was really having us over for dinner so they are going to try to have us over every week! Shweeeet! Oooh So we have an eternal investigator who has been meeting with Missionaries for like 2 years. And we go over there occasionally to talk to him or share a message. But he isn't really progressing. But Our President Suggested to keep going through the lessons with people like this guy. So we started this week. And he has came to church the last 2 Sundays! yay! Now we just need to get him to read his scriptures and commit to baptism... that may take a while.
We are working with a less Active family - its 3 brothers and sisters in their 20's. They are slowly getting back to church. And we are helping them set goals to get to the temple this summer to be sealed. They are really cool and we love going over to visit with them.
We had a great lesson with a couple in there 90's that were currently teaching. We are super close to getting them baptized.. i hope :) But the wife won't commit right now cause she is afraid of drowning... ugh. Were trying to convince her that nothing will happen.
I don't know if i mentioned this before. But we are teaching a Hindu family! We just had a lesson with them the other night! And we gave them a Book of Mormon in Hindi! We have to completely change the way we teach because everything we teach them is completely new to them. And there is the language barrier also, so we have to communicate through their kids sometimes. But they now have a Book of Mormon and they said they would read and a pray about it!
We met with Patricia last night, she is doing well. We had to change her baptism date to March 18 cause she needs to be at church 3 more times. But she i still solid!! yay!
Me and Elder Fredrickson started a big project the other day. We are making a new "Finder Binder". So that we can see who we are near and can visit when ever where in any area. Were also going to start focusing on Less Actives cause our Ward is getting Tiny! so tiny i would probably call it a branch. So were going to try to get these people to come back to church!
Well that's bout it! Everything is going just dandy! haha
Keep the letters coming! :) Thanks everyone that does write me !!!
Have a great week!
-Elder Jeremy Jensen
