Ok getting right to
it! Monday after doing office stuff, and mission stats, we went to the Ebelings
for dinner with them. Tuesday - The mission got 6 new Corolla's, so we had to
go pick them up from the dealership. So us, another companionship and a senior
couple went to the Toyota dealership and picked up the cars. We each got to
drive our own to the mission office. We also stopped at Costco and Elder House
bought us hot dogs for lunch. It was my first time to Costco on my mish. After
that we had to drive an hour and a half to take a missionary to his doctor’s
appointment, and the appointment ended up being canceled, so then we had to drive
another hour and a half to drop them off and come back to our place. Then we
went to Mutual at our church that night, so we could interact with the youth
and leaders. Wednesday - We had Golden retraining that day, so we had to help
the Baileys prepare lunch for them. We had our Apartment inspected by Elder and
Sister Weyland, and it passed of course. Then that night we just stopped by
less actives (LA's). Thursday - Had district Meeting. Then while we were in the
office Elder Bailey had us start a project. Our Mission office moved into the
church building a few months after I got here, and we still have utility bills
going to the old address. So we had to find out which ones were and called them
up or faxed them to have them update our mailing address. So we worked on that.
One other thing we have been working on is - The office is supposed to have a
copy of all of the apartments keys. So that if someone gets locked out etc.
Then we have an extra copy of their key. Well were missing a lot, so we've been
working on getting a copy of everyone’s keys. That night we were supposed to
have a lesson with two non-member boys whose Mom is a member. They have been
coming to church for a while and supposedly want to join. But they ended up
cancelling. But later we went over to the Baileys for our Dinner/coordination
meeting. Our Ward mission leader was in Mexico so we he just skyped into the
meeting. Friday - Was our service day. There were some missionaries in Maryland
and Delaware that needed some beds picked up and we needed to drop some stuff
off for some other missionaries. So we got to drive all the way down to
Maryland and Delaware. We went to Maryland first and it was a 2 and a half hour
drive, and you have to drive through all of Delaware to get there. It wasn’t
what I was expecting, it was really flat and a bunch of farm land nothing to
exciting. It was also super rainy. But that pretty much took all day. We
made stops in Salisbury, MD, Harrington, DE, Salsibury, DE and Smyra, DE. It
was a long day lots of driving. Well that’s pretty much our week. Monday were
going to Philly with the Assistants. It’s Elder Bezas' last P Day and he wants
to go see all the sights.
Super sad to hear
about Sydney Bruning, that's too bad. She was a really nice girl, and a lot of
people really liked her.
Anyways, have a great
