Feb. 16th, 2013

Well hey!                                                                                            Feb. 16, 2013

It's been a crazy week, lots to do! So I will start with Sunday. Church was good, we taught the Plan of Salvation to the Teachers quorum. We got to practice teaching it with them during the class. There are two non-member boys named JP and Andrew. Their Mom is a member but Dad is not. Anyways I guess they've been coming to church for a long time, so we want to teach them and get them baptized. Anyways Andrew was there in the Teachers class so he got to "pretend" to be the Investigator, even though he actually is. So I guess it was like Chinese New Year, so we were invited to have dinner with all the Koreans in the ward. Had lots of different/interesting food.... Monday - So we took half of our P-Day on Saturday and the other half Monday. Because we can't have our full P-day on Monday cause it's such a busy day for us. We got to do all the mission stats, numbers etc. So the first half of Monday we worked on that and got it done. Then we went with the Assistants to Philly. We went to this famous Cheesesteak Place called Jims in South Philly. It was good, but really overpriced. Then we walked to this T-shirt place that is really popular among the missionaries. You can get any shirt printed with a Philly design. So I got a pretty cool hoody. And I will probably eventually get you guys some shirts. We also went to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. And that was about all we had time for. Oh yeah we also had an Office Staff Meeting with President that morning and found out that we had to get 6 apartments furnished by early next week. So we have a basement/storage area below our apartment that the mission uses to store a lot of the extra stuff. So we put together some "kits" of plates and other stuff for the apartments. Tuesday - Did a lot of work in the office, more preparing for the new apartments etc. Wednesday - Had the mission conference call/study in the morning. Since we’re here in the office we get to be with President Schaefermeyer while he does the conference call with the whole mission. Just more office work that day. (That entails a lot of stuff) We went out with Randy K. that night to visit a couple people. He is a Young Man preparing for his Mish. Thursday - Had District Meeting (Valentine’s Day) Oh thanks for the package by the way. I loved it; it was filled with lots of good stuff. I was excited to get the watches and my camera. Oh and the music, me and my comp love it, we were kind of getting sick of our music from all the driving we do. Besides office work we had our dinner/coordination meeting with the Baileys. We had Meat loaf for about the 3rd time in my entire life. Friday - Is our service day, and man we were busy. So we only have a few days until transfers and none of the new apartments have received beds or other furniture. So we were driving ALL day - 250 + miles in the truck. We made a stop in New Castle, DE , Bridgeton, NJ , Atlantic City, NJ and.... Medford/Lumberton NJ. Cause if were in Jersey we have to go see the Masses!!! They took us out for dinner at one of my favorite pizza places, and then we went and saw Autumn at her work with them, and then got a picture at their house. It was suuuuper good to see them and talk to them! Today we’re doing our p-day stuff.  I trimmed the sides of my hair a little. We have a dinner appointment tonight with the other Elders and a Member. Were supposedly having fish and chips. Yum! Then we need to go start picking up luggage from the people that are getting transferred from Philly areas. Since they don’t have cars we have to pick their stuff up. It’s going to be a busy next few days!!
Hope all is well back home! I loved the videos on the camera you sent!!
Sorry if I didn’t get to everything in the letter! I don’t even have enough time to think, so much to do!
