Dec. 24th, 2012 Christmas!

Hey,                                                                                        Dec. 24, 2012

Well I don’t have a ton of time on this computer so this is going to have to be semi short..... BUT that's ok because I kind of get to call you guys tomorrow. umm So last Monday we had zone unity day (during our P Day) So basically the whole zone just got together at our church and hung out. Tuesday we had Christmas Zone Conference. That was good, Pres. and Sis. Schaefermeyer talked to all of us for a little. This will be their last Christmas on their Mission - just like me... Then we watched a movie called 5,000 days project: Two Brothers. Which was super good, I’ve already told you a little about it. Then we had lunch and then a talent show. The conference was combined with the Cherry Hill Zone (South Jersey). There were some pretty funny talents/acts. Oh I also finally finished Jesus the Christ that day also. When I first started it, I went through a good amount of it fast, and lately I’ve been reading it a little slower. But I’m going to read it again, but this time I will also read the chapter notes at the end of each chapter. Wednesday, hmmm well nothing to exciting that day, just a bunch of canceled appointments. Thursday- District Meeting. Then we went on exchange. I went with Elder Taylor in his area. We had a good exchange, at the end of the night we got stranded at a bus stop far away from the apartment, because the bus never came and it doesn’t come very often. Then it started to rain while we were waiting (don’t worry we had umbrella's) But we weren’t going to get in on time if we waited for the next bus, plus it was freezing, so we called a ton of members to try to find someone to drive us home. Well half of the ward is in Utah so it was impossible to find someone. But we finally got a hold of Bro. Payne, who was actually sleeping, to come pick us up. Friday - we ended the exchange. Nothing too exciting that day either ;) Saturday - We had coordination meeting. Then mostly had stop by's throughout the day. Sunday - had church, Rishie one of our investigators came. Later after church we stopped by people, one of which was a less active family that actually invited us over for dinner tonight. So I’m glad we stopped by! We also stopped by Sis. Bartelle's house, (She is another one of the ladies that takes good care of us) she had us stop by to pick up a Christmas gift for us. She gave us some treats and a fleece pullover. Oh during church we also helped load all the giving tree gifts into a car to be delivered. So that is the short version of the week.
I cut my hair this morning, it looks good of course. Today were going shopping to pick up some stuff to make a Christmas breakfast tomorrow. We’re having the other Elders come over in the morning and were going to have French toast etc. Then right now we have two families that we will be at tomorrow for Christmas, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. So I will probably be calling you in the afternoon like between 2 or 4 my time..? idk but I will definitely be in contact with you to let you know. umm Tonight were going to the Coriano's families house and Mom's house both for dinner. I’ve got lots of Christmas cards from people, so thank you everyone!! I have them all hung up on my door right by my desk, I will send pictures later or next week. ok trying to think if there is anything else to mention. no snow yet, but it has been getting a lot colder. Cinquetta is doing good, we haven't been able to teach her lately because we can get a member to come out with us. And she is up in Allentown (near my last area) for Christmas. But she will be back later this week, and we should be seeing her on Friday. But she’s been doing really good with reading the scriptures etc. next time we have to tell her that she has to get married to her boyfriend or move out... I’m hoping she takes it well. I guess she bought her own engagement ring as a hint, hint.
Well I think that's it. Can't wait to talk to you guys. Like I said I think I will want to talk to each of you individually and as a group, just so everyone isn’t talking at once etc. I’m supposed to keep it to around an hour. So yeah. Well Merry Christmas, thank you in advance for the Christmas gifts!!! Tell the Boyack’s I got their card, I have Grandma Janet’s package and yours. :)!

Love, Elder Jensen
