My letter to you all's
Oh hey, it's been a good past week! We went over to the Foulk family home and had
"green eggs and ham" its a tradition at their house to have that after Easter.
Kevin had his second surgery this week, so we went and gave him a blessing the night
before. We got his whole family to come in a watch/listen to the blessing. After that
we had family home evening with them, we talked about the creation and watched some
bible videos. After Kevin had his surgery we went over that night and taught him how
to do family history he liked it a lot. Him and his wife really like the idea of
baptisms for the dead. Were going to bring them to our family history center this
next week. We were able to get in contact with Nancy! We were in the area and decided to stop
by to see if she would answer. She did, and was actually pretty happy to see us.
We talked to her a little and were gonna be helping her move some stuff on Tuesday.
Hopefully she will maybe let us keep coming over. Later we went over to Kevin's house and taught the whole family lesson three.
That's on faith, repentance, baptism & holy ghost and enduring to the end. It went
very well and at the end of the lesson we were able to talk to his wife about baptism
and... She committed to be baptized and we asked her to pray about a date that she
thinks she will be ready by. It was awesome! We were soo happy. Saturday was basically a service day for us. We mowed a lawn for a less active guy
in our ward. And then we stopped by one of our investigators John Bravo an helped
him plant some flowers. We also helped him set up his Bluetooth in his car with his
phone. He was really happy. Today was awesome! Kevin spoke in church and talked about his conversion story
(did I mention he got the priesthood last week!) And his wife attended all 3 hours
of church today! She has been coming to church for about a month along with their
kids. In RS they talked about temples. Which is perfect cause that's what she loves about the church.
After church we got the best message ever! Kevin called us and told us Dawn had set a date!
We'll find out when it is when we go over tomorrow. Then later we went back to John Bravo's house and helped
him clean out his pool which was fun. And it was a really nice day. And then he fed
us after. So yeah that's basically it! Were going to Philly tomorrow for P Day tomorrow!!!!
