Downtown Mt. Holly

Hey!
It’s been a great week! The weather here has been pretty nice lately! It's been in the 50's and 60's. We had a really fun P Day last week with the DiVece's - a Family in our ward that we’re good friends with. Our car went in for repair Monday morning so we hurried and drove to the places we needed to go to before dropping the car off. Last week I think I mentioned that a guy and his daughter showed up to our church after coming in contact with missionaries in Puerto Rico. His name is Kevin, and we were able to meet with him 3 times this last week! And he "eats" up everything we teach him! It's awesome. On Wednesday we were able to give him a date to be baptized! March 25th!! He is super excited and so are we. He told us how when he got off the plane a few days ago that he decided to quit smoking because he had prayed about it, and he hasn't smoked since. (The missionaries hadn’t even mentioned the word of wisdom to him yet) So on Saturday we taught the word of wisdom, it was funny cause he was drinking coffee as we were teaching it,  and as soon as we told him he couldn't drink coffee, he didn't drink it for the rest of the lesson, and hasn't had it since either! Then since that went so well, we taught about tithing and he had no problem with that! Then on Sunday (yesterday) he came to church and brought his family with him!! His family isn't as interested as he is right now, but they are open. They over hear us while we teach him and they come in and ask questions. We were able to give his wife a Book of Mormon. We’re going to try to start teaching them this week. Ok other stuff. So the car was in getting fixed until Wednesday. So we had our Service Elders drop off bikes for us. So we used those to get around places for few days. It was fun :) My companion talked in church yesterday. The topic for sacrament meeting was on the Godhead which was perfect because Kevin's wife had been asking us questions about what we believe about the trinity etc.  She heard that we worship multiple Gods etc. (she’s been doing some research) so it was perfect cause it answered her questions about all that stuff.
Well I don’t have much more to say. We have zone conference this week on Thursday. It’s down in Vineland, NJ which apparently is kind of far away so bye bye miles :) Thanks to everyone that has been writing me! It means a lot! I have awesome friends and family!
Hope everyone has a great week. Read your Scriptures!!!

Love, Elder Jeremy Jensen
