Hey!

Well it's been an interesting past week! It has been very slow and frustrating :) Basically almost all of our appointments this week canceled or rescheduled. We were only able to meet with one of our investigators this week :( We met with Nancy- she has a Baptism date. She was a little unsure about being baptized so soon, so we cleared up some concerns and went over the Baptism interview questions with her. We also tried to get her more excited about being baptized. She is having all kinds of crazy stuff going on in her life right now, which isn't helping. But when we come over i think it makes her feel a lot better.
Our District Leader got transferred on Tuesday. So on Monday we went and hung out with him, we went to Golden Coral with Elder Anderson (DL) and Elder Phelps and our Zone leaders came as well, Elder Boehme and Elder Fitzgerald. We usually go over and play risk with them on P days so we played that after we ate. We now have a new District leader his name is Elder Hunt from West Valley City, Utah. He is pretty cool. He has about 6 months left on his mission.
I'm not sure if  i mentioned this last week, but as we have knocked on a lot of peoples doors we have met a lot of interesting people. One guy we talked to last week was especially interesting. He believed that God is an alien and all this crazy far out stuff. He also asked us if we wanted to smoke pot with him.. hahah i just laughed he was obviously high or drunk. This past week we lost an investigator but we also found a new one! But yeah it's been a tough week, sometimes we just have no idea what to do when one or all of our appointments cancel. And we run out of Less Actives and Potential Investigators to stop by.
The Weather here is kind of weird. earlier in the week it was FREEZING! it was soo cold. We need get like half and inch of snow over night on Wednesday.  But then on Friday it was around 65 degrees and was pretty warm. But we haven't had any crazy storms or anything. Oh and to make this last week even better ;) we didn't have any of our investigators at church :( But it looks like this week will be a lot better and that we will be able to meet with most of our investigators and hopefully get things going again.
I talked to Pres. Sikahema on the phone the other day, he wanted to know if my family had seen the Deseret News article. I told him that they had, he was glad everyone was able to see it.
This week we have Zone Training but only certain people are going. My Companion is going along with our District Leader. So Elder Phelps will be coming to my area for Tuesday and Wednesday.  We think it is training for leaders and Trainers etc. But they haven't really told us a lot about it. We had a really good lesson with Jill last night- one of our investigators. We have been meeting with her for about a month. And have been through most of the lessons, but she still has a couple concerns. So last night we just talked about all of her concerns and questions instead of teaching a lesson. We also had a Member couple there with us. The lesson went pretty well and we were able to address a lot of things she didn't understand or had a concern with. We just found out that she is moving at the end of the month :( so I'm really hoping that she gets an answer soon..
Oh so i don't know if i mentioned this, but me and my companion made a photo Christmas card at Walmart and gave it to a lot of members and our investigators. It was really cool to go into peoples homes through out the month and see our card hanging up on their fridge or somewhere in there home. We had many people say that they had never that the missionaries do something like that before, and that they liked it a lot!
I'm not really sure what else to say, But everything is going well. And no matter how bad my week goes I'm not going to let it get me down. So I'm doing fine and having a good time. Learning  A LOT and meeting a a lot of people.
I love to get letters and pics so keep writing me everyone!
Have a great week!

Love, Elder Jeremy Jensen
