Hey Everybody!
Well this week was a lot better then last week for
sure, we had a lot more appointments. Tuesday and Wednesday I was on
exchange with Elder Phelps, in my area. We taught the Restoration like 4
times on Tuesday together. We got pretty good at it. We taught a couple
who are in their 90's, that we have been teaching for about a month. we
are trying to get them to be baptized, but they are kind of scared of
baptism since they are so old. So we have been trying to help them
overcome that fear. We also were able to teach Patricia she is the
Dominican lady that has a baptism date.
Before you can be baptized you have to come to church 4 times. And so
were starting to run out for her to get to church that many times before
her baptism date.. We also taught the Restoration to a family of 5, the
lesson went really well. We gave each of them their own copy of the
Book of Mormon, and committed them to read and pray about it. They have a lot of
potential and i think they will hopefully end up being baptized! cross
your fingers ;)
We haven't been able to meet with Toni the last two weeks because he has
been sick. We have an appointment tomorrow, so hopefully he is feeling
better. I'm also going on another exchange with Elder Hunt tomorrow. wow
lots of exchanges!
Its been pretty cold here lately! I've been wearing lots of layers. Its
been freezing. Today it is raining :( ugh and we are basically going to
be outside most of the day.. So I'm not really looking forward to that.
Yesterday
(P Day) we went over to one of the Moorestown, NJ investigators house for
breakfast with them. He made us french toast that was really good! And
then we helped take down his Christmas lights. Then we all went back to
our apartment and played a 4 hour game of risk haha.
Well lets see what else.. I'm on week 9 of 12 for my training so I'm
almost not a greenie :) except they call us "Goldens" her not "Greenies"
haha. But everything is going good her in New Jersey, just trying to be
patient with everyone and trying to get all of our investigators a
baptism date.. :)
As always i love getting letters from people, it makes my day a lot better :)
have a great week! Try to have a missionary experience this week! Share the gospel with someone!
